YOUTH
CRICKET DEVELOPMENT IN WATERLOO
The
Caroni Cricket Association in conjuction
with the Waterloo Institute of Soccer
Players have commence a Youth Cricket
Development Program every Sunday
afternoon at 3.30 pm at Jerry Junction
Ground, Waterloo Road, Carapichaima (
next to Waterloo High school).
According
to Mr. Mozack Rahamath , President of
the Caroni Cricket association, This
training is
free of
charge
to all the youths in the area of
Waterloo and environs . He feel
confident that this initiative would
boost cricket in this region. He
stressed that this district is in need
of young players and hopefully the
cricket clubs in the area would benefit.
The program
is expected to continue for 12 weekly
sessions during which players would
learn the correct technique of Batting,
bowling. Catching, fielding, running
through the wickets and wicket keeping .
All coaches are officals of the Caroini
Cricket Association and all equipments
are supplied by the association.
At present,
over 30 players have registered into the
program most of whom are also members of
the Waterloo Institute of Soccer
Players.

persons are asked to contact the
coordinator, Mr. Stephen Bartholomew at
678-3878 for more information or
register your child on Sunday at 3.00pm
at Jerry Junction Ground.
