CONGRATULATES CARAPICHAIMA RC ON WINNING
THE 2008 PRIMARY SCHOOL GIRLS NATIONAL
FOOTBALL TITLE

Institute of Soccer Players held its
annual end of year function on Saturday
13th December 2008 at Ato
Boldon Stadium, Couva and honoured five
of its players who are starters of the
Carapichaima RC Primary school girls
team.

WISP
President, Stephen Bartholomew was in
high praises for the success of the
girls and Carapichaima RC School
football team. He indicated that apart
from the football development program
offer to the girls by WISP every
Saturday morning, the PE teacher of the
school Mr. Jim Baptiste also served as
vice president of WISP for the period
2003 to 2007.

year function saw matches played in the

Mr
Bartholomew indicated that a formal
Prize Giving Ceremony will be held early
next year to recognize the players of
the institute is now playing for the
Trinidad and Tobago National youth
teams. He boasted that the institute has
one player on the National U-17 boys
team and 6 players in training on the
National U-15 girls team.
In closing,
he thanked Mr. Hakim Hosein of Hakim
Hosein Construction Limited for his
invaluable financial support for the
development of the girls program and for
sponsoring all the drinks for the end of
year function.
